"What dat Momma?"

Today driving home from the gym, S was very inquisitive of "dat". We drove from one side of town to the other and every new site she had to ask "what dat Momma?" We talked about trees, buildings, houses, churches, airplanes, and then.... we passed the buffalo park! She went wild! She kept saying bu-lo, bu-lo, bu-lo! Well all the questions made her sleepy and slept on the way back across town to wal-mart. But I think she dreamed of those bu-lo because when she woke up that's what she started saying, "let see bu-lo gan(again) momma!" So I see a trip to the zoo in our near future!

Kiddo Funnies

My kiddos keep me laughing everyday! Here's the latest:

We recently got a new dog. A yellow lab named Hambone courtesy of Uncle Kevin! The boys have been outside introducing themselves to Hambone and trying to make him feel at home. After they came inside from playing with him last night C came upstairs to tell me all about it. He said that Hambone is a great dog; he said "I do think he has one problem Momma." I listened. C said, "Momma, I think he has over active bladder because he peed on every bush and shrub and tree out there!" I think maybe C has watched too many commercials!

The other Sunday on the way to church, the boys are in the back talking and playing. I heard MZ say "My brother is good at.....", and of course I was thinking I have such good boys! They really do love each other. Then MZ said ".....picking his nose! And he is good at scratching his butt!" So Daddy said "MZ, be nice!" MZ said " I am being nice! Daddy I am just trying to be positive! I was telling my brother what he is good at Daddy! What's wrong with that! C is the best booger picker I have ever seen!" Of course Daddy and I lost it. What do you say to that?

And last but not least S is definitely a little momma. She changes her baby's diapers and feeds them their bottles. This morning she had been playing in her kitchen and had two babies on each hip and also a wooden spoon in her hand. I ask her why she had the wooden spoon? I knew what a wooden spoon was used for in my kitchen and wondered if her's had the same purpose. She took the spoon and bent one of the babies over her leg and started spanking baby! Yep, our spoons have the same use! That's my girl!

Wellness is Wonderful!

Good News! All the kids are well and healed up! I am so excited! They have their Valentine's Day party today at school and they were ready to go!!! They both worked for several hours on their cards and treats for their friends (and maybe girlfriends) last night. C was excited because Sierra had given him a necklace yesterday and he wanted to make her something special.

MZ's finger is healing up very nicely! We have cleaned and wrapped and bandaged and prayed enough this week that I think finally it is together and not bleeding. Yay! He is going to have a cool battle wound.

S has watched Cinderella i can't count the times this week! She walks around singing "I'm princess Cinderella, I'm princess Cinderella!" It is so funny.

S and I have had a peaceful morning at home alone and are now getting ready to go meet the boys!

MZ's finger

Well after posting my last blog Daddy, MZ and S went to Mawmaw and Pawpaw's house for a surprise birthday party! Yeh! MZ and two of his cousins went for a walk in the woods. Poor thing fell on a piece of glass and cut his pinkie finger. It reminds me of one of my favorite movies-Lone Star State Of Mind-when Junior has to get his pinkie finger cut off because Earl didn't have enough money to give the bad guy, instead he offered a "personal check." Anyway MZ cut his pinkie finger pretty bad and thank goodness Nanni lives next door with med supplies! My sweet little guy had not shed one tear UNTIL......... Nanni said he did need stitches! OMG!! Well to say the least, Nanni figured out a way to make the steri-strips and other things she had readily available work! We are praying that it holds thru the night and morning so that we really don't have to go to the hospital!! So tomorrow is a new day! C will be home with Momma ans S, MZ will be at school with limited privileges in PE. All things are for the good of us! I know this and am claiming this!

Sickness Sucks!!

We have had a week of sickness!

S has had an ear infection and bladder infection and red throat, that started Tuesday. She has been on a steriod and an antibiotic. The steriod has out her in the WORST mood! We are thankful to be done with it! The antibiotic is very strong and we have had to start wearing ull ups again until we are finished with the meds! I just pray that it does not set us back on our potty training!

Saturday C asked to take a nap!!!! I had a mommy feeling that he would wake up feeling bad! so we were at the doctor on Saturday afternoon, along with every other sick person in town. I am so thankful that they give out mask at the doctors office. We sat there for our two hour wait with a mask on! We looked like those Japanese folks scared of bird flu! Anyway he has strep. So here we are on Sunday of the new week with two kiddos on the mend, hoping and praying that no one else gets anything!
