Girl Playday

Today I had lunch with my BFF. We really should be ashamed of ourselves because we live in the same city but rarely make time to get together! Anyway Carla and I met for lunch at Chick-fil-a along with Nanni. We enjoyed our lunch, let the girls and Cale (the only boy in this group) get to play on the playground and then we headed to her house! she was so excited when we got to Carter's house! then it hit me- it was really S’s first girl playdate. You know with girly things, like castles and tiaras and babies. Don’t get me wrong, she has been to her fair share of playdates, just mostly with boy things. It was so much fun watching her and Carter dress up with princess gowns and play games and ride toys and do all the things girls do; a lot different from boys in the fact that they didn’t run around yelling and screaming and fighting. Oh they did a little fighting but in a much more girly way! I would also like to say I enjoyed my playdate to with my girlfriend! Carla your the best! Well the only blip in the day was the bus was running 2 minutes early and I didn’t get tp the bus stop till right on time. C was freaking a little that I may have forgotten where to pick them up! MZ could have cared less! That’s my boys!

#2 Finishing The List

11. C has a blue belt in karate. He took Tan Su Karate for 2 years and loved it!
12. C would rather watch the History, Discovery, Cooking Channel than the cartoon channel on many days!
13. C was the fattest baby I have ever seen! He weighed 26 lbs. when he was 6 months old. He weighed 26 lbs when he turned 2 as well. I had some minor back problems because he gained so much weight so fast my body couldn't handle holding him!
14. C has 3 of his own guns. A BB gun, a .22 rifle and a .243 deer gun. (I personally don't know what all that means, I just know the #s)
15. C had 6 teeth pulled out at one time about a year ago! There for awhile all he had was a gappy mouth!
16. C is a thinker. He analyzes EVERYTHING. if you tell him he can pick out a toy, he will think of which one will he play with the most, which one is more cost effective, which one, which one, which one, which one.
17. C is a saver. He likes to save his money.
18. C is very cautious. He will take a risk after he has analyzed all the possibilities.
19. C can eat his weight in cheese! I would say that is his favorite food.
20. C does not require a lot of sleep! He goes to sleep talking about something and may wake up in the night thinking about it. Then he'll wake up in the morning still talking! He is my morning person!
21. C is wired like an engineer! He took a Kids Kollege class at Ole Miss this summer, Elementary Engineering, they built tons of thing with legos, motors, wheels. Very Cool and he absolutely loved it!
22. C has the strangest pinkie toe nail of the entire family! It grows into a "v" shape every time. He hates for me to clip it!
23. C's nickname is Chunky Monkey.
24. C slept in the bed with us until he was 1 and then he started sleeping in his own bed!
25. C is my favorite 9 year old in the entire world!


9. MZ is and has always been an early riser. When he was little he and David would get up at 5 together. That was their quality time by themselves!
10. He is not as much a morning person now, even though he still wakes up early. Just don't mess with him until he speaks to you!
11. MZ has shot his daddy's AR15. He loved it!
12. MZ knocked his two front teeth out when he was 3, we put them back in there. He knocked them out again when he was 4, we put them back in there. Again when he was 5 and I said 3rd times a charm. He has had no front tooth on the left side now for a year and a half. Dentist says it should come in in another 6-8 months or so.
13. MZ is the strongest 6 year old I know. He can do 100 push ups. His upper body strength amazes me sometimes. Daddy says he is built like a bulldog.
14. MZ loves to climb! He has been climbing trees since he was 3. He has never fallen out of one! PTL!
15. MZ water skied for the first time when he was 2.
16. MZ is a risk taker! Say "Jump" and he'll jump feet first.
17. MZ is completely confused when it comes to football! One day he likes Ole Miss, next State. He can't make up his mind!
18. MZ learned to read this year! I am so proud of him!
19. MZ has natural rhythm! He can swing his hips like I've never seen! He has his own moves!
20. MZ loves rap music too, usually doesn't know what the words are saying or what they mean but loves the rhythm.
21. MZ snuck out of class at the beginning of the year to go to the gym to check on Coach. He did not get in trouble by Ms. Betty!
22. MZ's nickname is Mocha Latte.
23. MZ loved to be swaddled as a baby. It is the only way he would sleep until he was 5 months old and got RSV.
24. MZ fell off the trailer one night and cut his upper lip terribly. He had to be put to sleep to have 6 stitches put in. It is the same scar my daddy has on his lip, which is MZ's name sake!
25. MZ is my favorite 6 year old in the entire world!!!!!

9. S has a cyst on her finger because she has sucked them so much! Which sucks! hahahaha
10. S has as many shoes as I do! The bad thing about that is she will only get one good season out of them.
11. S is a neat freak! She does not want her clothes to get dirty. If they get dirty they must be changed immediately! Hands, face same way. She is constantly picking up things and putting them back where they go! (I love it)
12. S has a "perch" at home. She sits in her high chair in the kitchen, she has a portable dvd player on the counter, she watches her tv, eats her snacks, and bosses everyone around from her "perch".
13. S has been my only child that you can tell to lay down and take a nap and she does!
14. S has beautiful hands. I know I am bias but so many people have told me that I am convinced it is really true!
15. S had her first adjustment from the chiropractor when she was 5 days old. She had VERY bad reflux and after her adjustment it went away completely!
16. S is very sweet. She takes very good care of her baby dolls.
17 S is the only child we have that has been on an airplane. When she was 5 months old we flew to MT to see Auntie!
18. S calls a pony tail holder a "pom pom". I don't know where she got that.

19. S's nickname is Bousy May Bousy May Poke Chop Baby, or Bousy, or Poke Chop. She can even say it!
20. S knows how to work my ipod!
21. S has been going to the gym with me since she was 1. She has been to almost every class I have been to. She can count to 12 perfectly (well almost, she trys reall hard!)and lifts 1 lb. weights!

22. S loves her brothers very much. She misses them when they are at school and ask all day when we are going to get Bubba and Bro?

23.S is my only brown eyed kid! I prayed for a green eyed little girl but God knows what you need more than you do and I love it now that she has brown eyes!

24. S is ambidextrous. She can write, throw, eat, whatever with both hands!

25. S is my favorite baby girl ever!

Well that was harder than I thought it would be! I have such sweet, wonderful kids and I am so proud of each of them. They each unique with their own personalities, but I can definitely see a little bit of me and Daddy in them! God has blessed us beyond our wildest imaginations!

Well my first blog, what fun. I am doing this blogspot to leave my children a history and journal of our lives. I want them to know the funny things they say, tricks they come up with, whatever they do to make me laugh, convict me, or even drive me crazy! We move through life so fast! Maybe this will make me more aware of what my precious kids and then also leave them a record of it for when I get old and senile!

Well one thing I did this week was write 25 random things about myself on Facebook. The whole time I was writing about myself I was thinking of my kids and husband and how it would be so much easier to do for them. Then the thought hit me this morning that that would be a great first blog- to write random things about them! We are going to this in birth order!

C…..
1. C is 9 years old.
2. C is very compassionate and caring and gentle!
3. C loves school and learning.
4. C loves to cook and help in the kitchen. He got an Easy Bake oven for Christmas! He also has several of his “own” recipes.
5. C is a little on the dramatic side! Everything is a big deal!
6. C has a girlfriend-Rachael Ray! He loves her.
7. C has been playing chess since he was 2. He has beat David 3 times.
8. C is very protective of his brother and sister. He may be the first to aggravate them but no one else can!

9. C was saved at 4 on Christmas Eve! David baptized him when he was 6!

10. C does not like milk in his cereal.

MZ….
1. MZ is 6 years old.
2. MZ’s favorite thing about school is PE and the coach!
3. MZ has the thickest hair in the family! He also has a lot of it! I don’t know what to do with thick hair!
4. MZ is very aware of what he is wearing! He likes to look “cool”!
5. MZ is more like my brother than he is David and myself. I don’t think Matthew could have a son that was as much like him as MZ!!

6. MZ loves his hair! he wants to grow his hair out long like Troy. (I'm still not sure who "Troy" is?)

7. MZ was saved when he was 4 and baptized when he was 5. David baptized him!
8. MZ could do a front flip when he was 2. It was the most amazing thing I have ever seen. The smallest thing flipping!

1. S is 2.
2. S is very prissy! She has the cutest prissy run I have ever seen!
3. S is potty training right now and doing great! She has been accident free for almost a week now!
4. S loves clothes, shoes, hair things, purses, dolls, anything girly!
5. S loves music! She loves to sing. Her favorite song right now is “If your Happy And You Know It.” Her favorite song to hear sung is “You are My Sunshine” the old one. She calls it her music!
6. S sucks the first two fingers on her left hand and has a blanket named “Homie.” Homie goes EVERYWHERE with us!
7. S is becoming a Daddy’s girl more and more each day.

8. S likes to be independent. "I do it Momma" is her new favorite thing to say.

OK well I didn't get 25 things about each of them...Yet. It's a good start. I'll add to them as I go.
